The PATH is a multi-dimensional, hands-on way to learn and experience Bible stories for children in PreK (4 years old) through 5th grade. Children meet in 10:30 a.m. worship with their families, then depart for Sunday School following the Welcome and Announcements towards the beginning of worship.
The PATH meets during the 10:30 a.m. worship service only. Children are always welcome in worship! There are children’s worship bags provided at the Welcome Center for those interested in being creative while worshipping. =)
During the school year we are excited to use the curriculum 252 Kids (www.thinkorange.com). It is based on Luke 2:52: And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man. This is what we want for our kids!
There are approximately 936 weeks from the time a baby is born until they grow up and move to whatever is next. As your children grow and learn, each phase of their lives is one to embrace! We look forward to partnering with you in each phase, as you love, encourage, and grow spiritually with your child.
For Sunday School, each month we focus on a theme and Bible story, or stories, that illustrates the theme. Partnered with the theme is a biblical life application, or life app–that demonstrates one of the many qualities of God that we will be able to think about and practice in our daily lives. The Bible story, games, and activities all reinforce the theme and life app for the month. We also love our small group check-in time, and the time we spend worshipping together!
And that’s not all! Families are encouraged to do daily devotions that bring home and reinforce the message each the week–whether you are at home, in the car, or anywhere you find your busy selves! Checkout the ParentCue blog and app (it’s FREE!) for more great articles and ideas on how to love and support your children throughout each phase of life.
