SPRING CHOW

SPRING CHOW

SPRING ChOW (Church on Wednesday) continues this week!

On Wednesday, March 13, 20, and 27, please join us for dinner (in the gym) at 6 p.m., and a three week class (in the Chapel) at 7 p.m. led by Pastor David based on the book Soul Keeping: Caring for the Most Important Part of You, by John Ortberg.

In this age of materialism and consumerism that tries to buy its way to happiness, many souls are starved and unhealthy, unsatisfied by false promises of status and wealth. We’ve neglected this eternal part of ourselves, focusing instead on the temporal concerns of the world–and not without consequence. Join us as we examine one of Christianity’s most mysterious and neglected topics.

From the back cover:

In Soul Keeping, John Ortberg helps Christians rediscover their soul–the best connection to God there is–and find out why it’s hurting and why neglecting it has set so many believers back spiritually.

…Ortberg shares his honest, funny, moving, insightful, and tender journey with you so that you can better care for your own soul.

Please join us for any or all of this three week Lenten series.
