Kids' Church at FPC Napa
We would love to have your kids join us at FPC Napa! From the nursery to our Kids' Church for elementary ages, kids will experience a safe, age-appropriate environment to learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way. Parents, we know how important your role is and want to partner with you to help them know and love Jesus!
Kids are always welcome in worship! Discovery Bay, our nursery on Sunday mornings, is open for parents of kids infant-4 years old to use anytime the need arises.
Kids' Church for those in preK-5th grade meets in person at 10 am in the Chapel.
Your first visit in person
Here's what to expect when visiting for the first time in person:
First, find the Chapel next to the Presbyterian Day School entrance on Randolph Street. There we will meet your family and check your child in to our system. Come a little bit before 10 a.m. so we'll have plenty of time to get you checked in. If you would like to check in online ahead of time, download the Church Center App and look for First Presbyterian Church of Napa to get started.
When you check in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
- Parent/guardian name(s), email, and phone number
- Child's name
- Home address
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
Already registered?
Before Service: You can check in your child at the available kiosk in the Chapel. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and the day of your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.
After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will send you a quick text. We ask that you exit the Sanctuary immediately and check back in where you dropped off your child.
Nursery
We currently offer an Open Nursery on Sunday mornings. Feel free to come and use our family friendly room to be with your infant or toddler any time you need to during the service. The livestream of the service will be available for your viewing as you care for your little one.
What's Happening at Kids' Church in September

God created us for relationships.
From the very beginning of the Bible, we see how important it is to have wise people in our life who help us understand how to honor God with our actions. When God sent Jesus, we were able to see the best example of friendship ever. Jesus showed us how much He loves us as He laid down His life for His friends. With His words and actions, Jesus showed friendship to everyone He met. We can reflect Jesus’ love best when we take time to care for our friends.
Throughout the month of September, we'll check out stories from the Bible that show us:
- How to choose our friends carefully.
- How friends keep their promises.
- How friends stand up for one another.
- How friends forgive one another.
Kids are invited to join us in the Chapel at 10am

Parents and caregivers are invited to join us for a 5-week class beginning on October 3, to learn about and discuss mental health as it relates to raising our children. We'll meet on Tuesday evening during Youth Group time in the Fireside Room. If you'd like to join us for dinner, meet at 6pm, then the class will go from 6:30-7:30pm. (We'll be off the weeks of October 22 and October 31.) Sign up using the link below.
Meet our Family Ministry Director
Jane Roscoe
It is an amazing blessing to see children grow and learn. My three children have grown up at First Presbyterian Church of Napa and are now thriving young adults. First and foremost, I would love for your kids to get to know Jesus. Who He is. What He did for us. Why it makes a difference. It will change their lives!
