“Checkup on Our Faith”
Matthew 7:15-20
Fall is filled with delicious fruit from harvest.  We recognize plants by their fruits.  Some fruits are delicious.  Some, not so much.  While we can enjoy a vast amount, some fruits are poisonous.
As our scripture points out, we don’t pick “grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles”.  Instead of talking about fruit, Jesus was referring to the fruits of our lives.  Are we producing fruit that is delicious or poisonous?
Just like we need a regular visit to our doctor to checkup on our health, we should also be checking in with the Great Physician to examine areas of our lives that may need pruning or change.
When was the last time your faith had a checkup?

Fireside Room, 4:00-6:00 PM Sept. 29 – Nov.

New Sunday Morning Class for Youth!

After elementary school, many students begin to resist coming to church on Sundays. Often, this is because they don’t find the available programs fun or relevant to their lives. At NEXT, we offer a next step for your student to stay engaged and excited with Sunday church.  The program consists of STEM activities, an interactive lesson, and games.

Contact Wes Simmonds if you have any questions.
