The Historic First Presbyterian Church Foundation was established 30 years ago in order to maintain and preserve the Sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church built at its current location in 1874. The Board of this Foundation is composed of members of the First Presbyterian Church and interested individuals from the Napa community.

When we see the magnificent First Presbyterian Church in the middle of downtown Napa, we owe an untold debt of gratitude to countless individuals: the original builders and those who over the last 150+ years kept the Sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church standing, even after earthquakes and storms, and also those whose generosity financed it. It has continued as a house of faith and community outreach that is deeply rooted in our community.

The First Presbyterian Church of Napa has been the spiritual home to many families in Napa for more than 150 years. It is a sacred place of history and a place to share faith, celebrate traditions, and serve others.

For many years, the Foundation has benefited from the gifts of church members, friends, and community members. The future preservation of this beautiful building depends on these gifts.
